WinterMute spear question

No! I don't want to talk about the spear being available in other modes.

I've been playing for years but am only now doing TLDWM, I just want to know if there is any reason I should craft more than one spear head. Them be heavy. I've looked for info, founf nothing, and made like four of them. Thanks (image was taken from u/RebelSandGaming on youtube.)
