Which trainings are worth it, in your opinion?

Hello fellow therapists!

I'm a little over a year into being a fully licensed MFT, and I'm looking to dive a bit deeper into some specific theories. I've been pretty eclectic up to this point, and I want to start sharpening specific skills to strengthen my practice. Unfortunately, as we all know, trainings and certifications have become incredibly expensive, which leads me to this post. In particular, I'm wondering about EFT (Sue Johnson's version, but any unit of treatment), IFS, and EMDR. As you can guess, I'm trying to add a bit more trauma-informed treatment to my therapy, but paying four grand to get only level one certified in IFS is a pretty significant hurdle.

So I suppose I have three questions:

1) Is it worth it to pursue training/certification in any of the modalities I mentioned?

2) If there's a cheaper option for training in any of those modalities while still being thorough, where is it? (I don't mean a one hour CEU course, I mean a legit training that teaches you how to implement the skills)

3) Are there any other modalities that are worth spending some cash to be trained/certified in?

Any insight would be appreciated, and mods please remove if this isn't allowed.
