Sex Therapy Programs

I've been interested in sex therapy since grad school, but it hasn't been a viable option for me until now. Im currently at a group practice with future plans to go solo, and feel that sex therapy would complement my career path and niche (and thus set me up for better marketability once I go solo). The end goal is AASECT certification.

\*\*Those of you who are trained and/or certified in sex therapy, do you have any recommendations for training pathways?\*\*

I'm currently looking at the University of Michigan's Sex Therapy Certificate program, which appears to fill most of the education requirements for AASECT certification.

Aside from cost, the biggest barrier is that I would have to give up nearly every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) for an entire year. However, it does seem to be a very reputable program.

Open to hearing anyone else's experiences and recommendations :)
