Could Rick be considered the new Morales?

On the days leading up to San Diego comic con, my friends and I have been talking. Whether be Dead City Season 3, Daryl Dixon's final season, future spin offs, or whatever else Rick pops up every other time.

Atp, we're convinced that Rick will show up at the most random, but appropriate(?) time just like Morales.
