Question to those who buy and resell ThinkPads. Do you find it's best to go minimal on upgrades or better to beef it up?

I found a good deal on a T470 that I couldn't pass up. I already have a T480s, so don't need it. It came without a hard drive and 8gb of RAM. Looking for some feedback in regards to how far to go with upgrades if I'm just going to sell it.

Should I just throw a 250GB SSD in there and leave the RAM as it is? Or would I get more value on the resale if I put in a larger SSD (500GB or 1TB) and doubled the RAM?

Wondering if there are some ThinkPad flippers lurking in here that could share their experience :-)
