Considering buying a new ThinkPad, confused about current series
Hi everyone,
I currently own a T570. I want to buy a new one because the T570 is just way too slow. I'd like to buy one of those 16" models, I'd like something with:
- Good battery life. If possible, I'd like the battery to be user-replaceable (I suppose hot-swappable is no longer a thing?) - Fairly good screen - A reasonably fast CPU that doesn't throttle too easily. Now, I don't need a beast of a CPU because I already have a desktop PC for heavy workloads, but my T570 has been slow from the get-go due to its underpowered CPU that throttles immediately and I don't want that anymore - Be able to do some casual gaming (Fall Guys, Rocket League, Minecraft, these kind of stuff - low settings is fine) - A fair amount of RAM (ideally 32GB)
I am fairly lost with all of Lenovo's offering: T16, P16, P16s, P16v... I'm not sure how they differ. Can someone tell me what're the pros and cons of each series regarding my main criteria?
Thanks in advance
