(Yet another) T480 Screen Replacement
So I broke my T480's LCD (dumb mistake on my part, let's not get into it lol). The stock panel is an IVO R140NWF5 (1080p, touch). I have a few questions:
1. If I'm looking to switch to a non-touch display, I'll need to replace the cable from a 40-pin to a 30-pin, correct? Is the connector on the motherboard the same between the two of them?
2. Other than the N140HCG-GQ2 (the holy grail for T480's), are there any other cheaper options that is better than my stock panel? The stock one is so bad in terms of color rendering, it's worse than my Legion Y520. It's not bright, it's not colorful, it's just dull.
3. Anyone have any experience on using the N140HCA-EAC? Is it any good, or should I just look for something better?
4. Here in Indonesia, online sellers usually sells the NV140FHM-N46 as a drop-in replacement for the x480 series. Are they better than my laptop's stock? I'm assuming it's the panel for the non-touch 1080p IPS version of the T480.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
