Hey guys, I want to buy a Thinkpad

Hello Thinkpad subreddit. I've been wanting to buy a Thinkpad for a couple months now, but I want to make sure I'm making a smart purchase when I do and am asking for your input. The laptop would be running Linux (Ubuntu probably, but open to other distros, still new to the linux world).

I plan on using the laptop for learning Python, Note taking, Youtube, and possibly some gaming (Nothing big, maybe MTG Arena and some indie games). But I do want this laptop to be decently fast, and be able to last for at least a few years before I think about upgrading.

I am eyeing this T14 Gen 2 on Amazon, and just wanted input on if it's a good idea to purchase, or to search for something better. It's roughly 315 dollars refurbished. Sorry if it's a stupid post, I just want to make sure I'm making a smart purchase for what I'm looking for, or if I should spend a bit more for something that's a better purchase. Thank you.
