Linux problems on T14 gen2 AMD

Hi there I recently got an AMD T14. I'm done with windows on my machines if I can help it. So I went right to the mate variety of mint.

It's got a suspension issue where it can not recover from being suspended. I was able to jump over to TTY1 and try to log in where I got the image where it seems related to PCIE not waking up? Or some issue where it loses access to the drive.

I've poked around a little bit and some people say update the kernal. Some people say update the bios... I'd like to be able to suspend my machine without installing windows for sure.... But the issues others have had also don't seem quite the same.

Feel free to throw me at another fourm too. I'm just getting started I suppose.
