Thinkpad p16v gen 1 got stolen. What should I get now?

My thinkpad p@6v gen 1 got stolen (in the Reno sparks area if you see any around there). I filed a police report so they can find it if it gets to a pawn shop.... Cuz that's where all the laptops go these days..

Any way what should I get next? Trying to save money keep it comparable to what I had I was thinking maybe used/refirb for a P53/P15 l. For a couple hundred could probably get compare spec with not much difference in hard ware.

I was looking at the newer p16 gen2/3. Migjt be able to swing a cyber deal or get refirb for not a terrible price. There a good deal on a p16 g3 at the lowest spec and that could be everything I've ever wanted.

How are the full p16, are they a bit bulky for travel? My p16v keyboard felt pretty mid but it sound like new get and then p16 (no v or s) has a better keyboard and build) I also notice they went a way from double hinge to single. Has this compromised build quality?

I don't use my laptop professionally but I do program and am trying to get in to embedded space. I was going to and do some ML with python on my last one so something with good cuda core or equivalent would be good but I guess not required. Should I give the T series a look? Sinc I don't really need that much power right?
