Keyboard replacement for t440s

I'm new to replacing parts on laptops, and figured if there was anything particular I need to know about getting this keyboard

One thing that i've been wondering about is how a keyboard with a backlight will work with my t440s, which currently does not have that functionality. Will I gain this functionality once I install the new keyboard?

I'm also wondering what size of screwdriver I should order with this if it's the right one.
