Madison's parents

>! Can I just say that Madison's parents are horrible people.

>!Her mom leaves her father, which you know is fine, people divorce, people separate, it might be terrible for the children, but it's not the end of the world and depending on the situation it might even be better. If all the parents did was fight all the time, there is little reason to stay together, so you might separate and not have to deal with each other on a constant basis so less reasons to fight and you can still give your children a great life. But the way that Madison's mom did this it almost felt like she was blaming Madison, not only was she separating from her husband but she also seemed to be "separating" from her child. She gives the whole talk and then gives Madison the earrings as if she is never going to see her again, that's horrible.

>!Then her father. Holy cow talk about destroying your child's self esteem, just "go with whoever will take you", "Don't be picky". Talk about not caring about your child one bit. I'm surprised that Madison didn't end up in abusive relationships because she just took "leftovers" of life. This tells me that even with the major handicaps her parents gave her in life, she still had enough in her to not just take the leftovers, even if she didn't end up getting the best she could.
