Thursday Trivia

This one might be difficult (although I haven't played the newer games, so it might be really easy). I will give hints later if needed and the answer tomorrow if no one gets it (maybe you guys will get it right away). In RTK I, Liu Bei starts with three generals under him. Two are Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Who is the other general?

Edit: As XiahouMao stated, some things in the first one didn't make much sense. I noticed this general wasn't in the second game, so I thought maybe something was off. The game has him listed as Sun Gan. While trying to find info on him he was listed as a general of the Wu (maybe it's another general with the same name, or maybe they just totally messed up). Here's what the first game had to say about him:

"A devoted subject of Liu Bei, Sun Gan joined Liu Bei's army after being recommended by Tao Qian of Hsuchou. He served as a messenger to Yuan Shao when Liu Bei raised an army against Cao Cao at Hsuchou. He was also sent to Liu Biao to ask him to provided Liu Bei with shelter at Junan. Sun Gan continued to contribute to the Shu army until his death."
