3 days post-op TT

My surgery was on Friday and today is Monday. When I got home on Friday I did not have a sore throat whatsoever. My voice is perfectly normal and I can eat whatever I want. Not what I was expecting whatsoever! My neck is definitely sore and my hormones all over the place. I’m sure it’s either because the medication hasn’t kicked in or some other medical reason I’m not sure of. I get intermittent hot flashes and sweating but I’m hoping that’s gonna resolve by the end of the week. I’m just chilling at home and relaxing. I was expecting the recovery to be much much worse! Sleeping is kind of a bitch because I’m a stomach sleeper and we need to keep our head elevated. Anyhow thought I would share. I was super nervous for surgery and my surgery wasn’t until after 1 PM and I had to fast from midnight the night before so that wasn’t fun. Best of luck to everybody out there preparing for this
