Controlls not working on playstation

I got the game yesterday for my ps5 but the game is not working for me. In the beginning youre supposed to trade the bottle for the plant the controlls are not working. I can pick up all items ( with x / square on ps ) but cannot trade/interact/place items ( y or triangle on ps). The small cloud with the button that shows which button is for picking up shows up but when i have an item in my hand i can only throw it away with the same button. I noticed that when getting close to the artist frog/the bonfire pit small white dots and a soundeffect appear but dissapear before the little gametip cloud can appear. Anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it? I already tried deleting and reinstalling the game, both the ps4 and ps5 version
