Friend’s Wedding in Sept

Hey all. So I noticed a slight ringing in my ears about 3 years ago (I’m in mid-20s rn). Definitely before Covid. I probably caused my sound-induced T by using Pixel Buds at high volume in the school library (we had quiet floors but I didn’t go there often).

It’s gotten progressively worse through no one’s fault but my own. Either because I was embarrassed (for some reason) to mention I had it or to ask people to lower the volume a lot. I‘ve only slightly habituated to the spike each event causes. It’s gotten loud enough that when I cover my ears and let go, I hear the same sound.

So, I have a wedding to go to in a few months. Being Middle Eastern, I know the music is going to be blaring & no amount of hearing protection is going to help. Does this mean I should leave before the music starts playing? When thinking about all the future weddings I’ll be going to and the fact that I may have to leave that early each time, it honestly makes me tear up. But I also don’t think I could handle louder T at this point. Any advice wold be appreciated.
