Active Noise Cancelling w/ Samsung Buds 2 Pro has been a godsend for my tinnitus
Quick background, I have always-audible buzzing tinnitus caused by acute acoustic trauma (live show) and a weakened nervous system (benzos for sleep) 3 years ago. 2.5 years off benzos.
I just picked up a pair of these 2 weeks ago. I figured any earbuds would aggravate my tinnitus, but I took the chance and I'm so glad I did.
The Active Noise Cancelling feature is better than I had imagined. Without even listening to music, they are the best earplugs I've ever had. And that allows me to listen to music clearly at lower levels outside. No more cranking up the volume to hear over city sounds and my motorbike.
I know there's other sound cancelling headphones, but this feels like a leap forward in the tech.
Now of course they can't cancel tinnitus sounds, which are even more clear in the quiet. But my tinnitus has been noticeably calmer for me since I began using them. I leave the buds in half of the day. For music, phone calls, or even just for quiet.
Figure I'd throw this out here for my fellow tinnitus sufferers. Strong recommend for those with sensitive ears. I'm not saying it'll help your tinnitus, but it can certainly help you not make it worse.
