[PC][2000-2009] Jungle Adventure Game

This game has haunted me for so long I am actually almost convinced it’s a false memory- except my brother remembers it too. It was a game my dad owned and my brother and I played on our windows desktop computer sometime between 2000-2009. Some memories may be incorrect so bare with me:

Realistic graphics, not pixelated.

The main character is an adult male.

I recall the main character’s image being on either the physical CD-ROM or on the cover art, wearing a safari type hat.

I remember the main characters name being a part of the games name, but this could be false.

The setting is in a jungle.

He is an explorer/anthropologist/treasure hunter.

There was either a sequel or a second disk.

There was maybe an animal companion- a bird or a monkey?

There was a mini game where you were going down a river (in the Amazon?) in a canoe/kayak and had to dodge bugs.

There was a temple with a Hindu-esque god puzzle.

There is a part that involves a submarine and inputting coordinates to find a sunken ship.

When you locate the ship, there are pirate skeletons playing a card game- I remember playing a card game with the skeletons.

I downloaded Amerzone and it’s not it.

I am likely combining multiple games in my mind but if anyone can suggest anything that makes sense- I BEG of you- give me a lead.
