[PC][~2000s?] Flash? Puzzle game with a time limit.

The game was an animated puzzle game, I believe point and click with 2d art. It looked 'realistic' from what I remembered (This was ages ago though)

You picked scenarios or something similar and each scenario had a time limit. One of the key parts I remember was as the time ticked down you would get occasional mini cut scenes that showed a threat/danger slowly advancing on your character/the group of characters that hung around the area as you tried to escape/solve the puzzle. A mysterious mist might approach or a character might show signs of being possessed or something like that.
