Game on sale: worth it?

I just saw Titanfall 2 went a on a big sale and I'm trying to decide if it is worth getting (as are many I assume given the spiking player count). Is the game still worth getting right now at $8? I know there is a campaign that should be playable, but how long/good is it and how is the NPE?

As for the multi-player aspect: 1) is it good (just overall enjoyable particularly for a new player. I've got some experience in Apex, but I understand that movement in this game is like Apex on steroids) 2) does it have enough players to actually find games and 3) I've heard there are server issues as of late, are the game servers working?
