when do pants make a comeback?

So, my 27 month old has been potty training for 2 weeks. So far no accidents. However, when she has shorts on she panics when trying to get them off in time for the potty, so we have been letting her run around bottomless at home.

When we go out obviously we put bottoms on, but as soon as we get back they're gone. How long should I wait?

The last time I did potty training was 10 years go and I remember nothing 😢
