Something weird happened

My 3 year old, without prompting or asking, took himself up to his room today and began playing quietly with his toys. Usually he picks a toy and then asks us to play with him. Occasionally he'll play by himself for up to 20 minutes and believe me I cherish those minutes when they happen.

But today he just went and started playing in his room, on his own. He did this for an hour. My husband and I were thoroughly confused and creeped out. Suffice to say we didn't make the most of it because we didn't know how to react!!

I'm guessing the stars aligned and it won't happen again but who knows lol.
