Nice retirement communities are the ultimate toddler destination.

1. My toddler is basically a celebrity. EVERYONE stops to say hi to her and come over to say that she's adorable.

2. The food is awesome for toddlers. It's easy to get a small portion of something that's tasty, nutritious, and easy to chew. For example you can order a bowl of berries! Or a small bowl of cottage cheese.

3. No one has any problem with an unskilled human wandering around. The place was designed for that and everyone expects it. There are no trip or fall hazards, most things are already childproof. The staff are super nice and happy to accommodate random toddler requests like a cup of milk with a lid and straw. Naps and spills are par for the course.

4. Toddlers are absolutely adored and doted on...love is all you need, right? And berries.

So if you know someone who lives in a nice retirement place, I highly recommend a visit.
