Christmas presents wooden road blocks

Hello looking at brands to buy a wooden road builder set for my 3 year old…. Last year I mistakenly bought the wood town and cars from Melissa and Doug but it didn’t come with road pieces.

So does anyone have a recommendation on those type of wood blocks to make roads. I would like it to be adjustable to different configurations and hopefully be able to use the Melissa and Doug cars on it.
