Ariel and Computers(wood elves)

How the heck does the computer AI grab up Ariel before me all the time? Lmao. None of them have a tree that ever gets to 100 health to do the first rebirth - and then I see Ariel chilling, being used stupidly and will never have items. Even if I can confederate with them, I get a flawed and broken Ariel lol.

Anyway to prevent the AI from grabbing her first?
