"A Grudge Too Far" blew all the fun out of my campaign.

So there I was having my first campaign of IE going well with collecting skulls for the skull throne and all that, when I was warned that the dwarves were getting pent up with all the grudging, to which I felt a little smug seeing as I had already wiped out Ironbrow's Expedition, ousted Karaz-a-Karak from their titular city, and with Skarbrand well on his way on rooting out Clan Angrund.

I deemed myself all set to weather a dawitide flowing southwards from Karak Kadrin, but when the 10 turns were up (with Skarbrand having been sent further on to tear up the underbelly of the Empire and strike Kadrin from their west), an already troubled frontline harried by the Last Defenders and Ghosts of Pahuax was suddenly turned for the worse as Thorek Ironbrow rose from the dead, whilst Thorgrim Grudgebearer teleported himself and four armies of his finest men straight to Karaz-a-Karak far behind the frontlines rather than readying up at their current capital, and even Karak Azul emerged *right* inbetween the two armies I'd sent to hunt down Imrik and the rest of my lands.

Kinda the worst part of the Vortex campaign tuned to 11 that was, more bullshit than challenge. Archaon, Attila, and even the Mongols back in Medieval II had the decency of approaching from a predictable direction.

Sorry if I sound whiney but it's 34 hours of gameplay just perfectly shat on with surgical precision by circumstances that don't make sense.
