HRT and C Protein Resistance. Should I be worried?

I (33yo MtF) just had my bloodtest this week and I have an appointment in a month with the endocrinologyst to see about starting hormones.

The thing is, I had another bloodtest in July, but I moved so I switched to the capital's gender clinic, which means closer to where I live and better specialized care, but also a further delay of six months.

Anyways I went to a last appointent with the old endo to get the bloodtest results and he said I could have problems with getting HRT because my C Protein Resistance test was positive (1.85), indicating risk of blood clots, which can be increased by feminizing HRT. He said an hematologist or maybe the specialized endo in the gender clinic will be able to tell me better.

I am scared... Of being denied HRT but also of it being approved but then dying randomly from an stroke or a lung thrombosis. My left shin and calf already have a lot of brown spots... My grandma got those too and now her leg swells in hot days...

So... did anyone here have an experience with this? Can HRT be denied because of this? Will a low dosage be an option, at least? Does the blood clot risk get much higher with HRT?

As a bonus, my grandpa and his grandma both died from pulmonary fibrosis, which seems to be hereditary and it also seems like progesterone can aggravate it if I do have that gene and it activates.

My body seems to be healthy and able but all of this information makes me feel like one misstep or any drastic hormonal change might make all of it crumble apart.

So... uh... how screwed up am I? I really need to know what to brace for....

Thank you.
