Wait hot water is bad for my hair?!

So I just learned that hot water is bad for your hair in the shower but I love hot showers. Not only this but apparently it's common knowledge!

Now I am questioning what else is probably common knowledge but I didn't learn because I was raised male growing up? 😭 For the girlies what did you learn later on in your transition that you wished you learned sooner?
