Private clinics and health insurance

I managed to convince my GP to get me a referral to the GIC Indigo in Manchester, but I’m concerned about the 2 year wait list.

Let me start by saying I know I’m very lucky to be where I am, since this is probably *the shortest* NHS GIC wait list here on TERF Island, and I know a lot of you have been waiting so much longer. I see you and I love you. It will get better <3

I am contemplating going private, assuming I can scrape together the funds, and was wondering whether the gender clinics can be covered by any private health insurance such as Bupa (and whether or not it would be remotely cost-effective if it was covered).
