[Arabic > English] Is this particular Google translate correct?

I wrote a poem a while back about a little alien and as I often do, I cycled through Google Translate looking for words that fit the theme of the story, in this case words like "star" and "galaxy", and one that stuck out to me at the time was an Arabic translation for "galaxy" that in English came out to something like all-MAH-jah-rah, which I liked so much I used it for my little alien's name, except I had it pronounced differently as ALL-ma-JAR-uh, intending to refer to the Arabic translation later.

I was editing recently, remembered the origin of the name, and realized that I have no idea if it's accurate in any way, shape, or form. It wasn't the only translation for "galaxy", by the way, there were like three other words that also meant "galaxy," I was just wondering if this was actually one of them?
