Is it possible to get prescribed HRT by a walk-in clinic?
Hey! So this might seem like a silly question since I know any family doctor can prescribe HRT in Ontario, but I'm moving to Ottawa in a couple months so I wanted to double check in case I can't get a family doctor. Is it possible for a doctor to prescribe you HRT when you're just a walk-in, or do you need to be registered with them so they have a file on you or something? Or is there a restriction on the types of drugs a family doctor can prescribe to a non-registered patient that includes HRT? Similarly, could they give me a requisition form for blood work or would I need to go without?
