Non-legal state people, do you tell your Dr.?

And if you did tell your doctor, how did that go? Long story short, I live in a non-legal state where I honestly just don’t trust doctors that much. I’ve had a doctor tell me Covid a hoax, another dr threaten to take away my meds because I admitted I sometimes drank beer on weekends (no interaction with my meds btw), and a dr tell me chronic pain diagnosed by another dr wasnt real and to “just not think about it”. All this makes me not want to tell any doctors I use cannabis and only mention it if I have to go under anesthesia.
