How safe is it to have weed mailed?

Just moved to Tuscaloosa from Seattle and I've had a hard time finding a connection here. I have however been contacted by someone on Whisper saying they have a connection that mails them their weed, says it's professional.

How safe would it be to go through with it? Is there any way to make sure it's legit and I'm not gonna get busted?
