couple of questions about dabbing attachments for bongs

what's up with most of the reclaim collectors being male to male?

from what i see it seems like most bangers are female?

seems a bit weird and with the reclaim piece i got it all sits in between the connections, not really a problem, i managed to get it all out just fine but i'd like to get a male to female one so that doesn't happen instead, but they seem to be less available to some extent.

also i don't see many quartz reclaim collectors and i understand why, but it'd be nice to be able to find a good one that's fully quartz glass instead of just the regular stuff so i don't have to be as careful with my torch getting the oil back.

other than that, just started dabbing seriously after 19 years of smoking weed only and i'm not sure i'm going back to herb honestly, i love how efficient it is to just take a single hit and be done with it instead of the weed smoldering in between hits.

also, is there a good way to test without breaking anything if a carb cap is quartz or glass? i'm honestly not sure about the one i've got and i'd like to know if it's easy to find out.
