Weed and headaches?

I didn't do anything out of the ordinary today, still drank plenty of water, ate food, had caffeine. However, when I used my vape like 4 hours ago all that happened was a steadily building superheadache that seems like it was only made worse by anything that might be called a "high" that happened as a result. Sleeping appears to have had no effect. Has anyone else had this before?
