Headset damaging part of hair?

Headset causing hair loss in area of head?

I was wearing this shitty tight headset 24/7 for several months. I only see hair thinning in the middle-front area where the headset laid I have no root thinning. I went to my barber to get it cut shorter to grow out better and he told me I’m not naturally balding but he could feel where my headset was fucking up my hair when shampooing me. Is there anything I can do to thicken the damaged hair up?
