People talking at concerts

Just left the Peach PRC concert in Melbourne and I am kinda shocked at the level of talking throughout the concert. Don't get me wrong it was a killer show, and the crowd was going nuts, however on a few of the quieter songs there was a very loud murmur of noise throughout. The people behind me were talking and laughing to the point I had to ask them to be quiet. What is with this? Am I losing my mind? Didn't you all pay to see her perform, why are you having a chitchat??
