Was anyone else disappointed in Diablo (the character) in Diablo III?

For whatever reason, they changed how he looks. He looks closer to the alien from "Alien" than the Lord of Terror.

He walks like he's in high heels, I've seen a lot of jokes in general chat about this one.

He was way easy compared to the Diablos of yore. I beat him with one try, on my first character, no deaths, or even came close.

I remember Diablo II's, Diablo wiping the floor with me.

I'd love to read your opinion on this. :)
