Spotify mix speed adjustment?

Is there anyway to control the speed adjustment in mix mode? Specifically, if I'm going from a song at a first bpm to a song at a second bpm, using the Mix feature, it will adjust the second to match the first, which sounds good for the transition... But around 5 seconds later it will abruptly change to the original bpm over the course of a second or two which sounds really obvious and awkward. Is there any way to change that adjustment to occur over, say, 10 or 20 seconds?
