Anyone taking Metformin along with Trulicity ?

T2 here, I have been on Metformin for a long time but was not getting much improvement on my A1C. My doctor has prescribed Trulicty along with Metformin ER 500mg twice a day. I will take the first shot of Trulicity tomorrow.

Is anyone taking these 2 meds together? Any side effect or precautions?
