allergic to tape

I'm having my pannulectomy on Nov 12 after I've lost around 200 lbs (I was almost 400 lbs and now I'm just under 200 lbs at 5'7"). I have a skin condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa which makes my surgery a bit more tricky, and I'm using my surgeon that has done 3 HS surgeries for me so far. I'm getting rid of my belly button (it's a vector for my HS) and there's some other factors for HS.

However, one of my questions is that I'm allergic to tape, and so much of what I've read on here includes tape. Has anyone had this issue? On my other surgeries, I've just figured out how to wear tight clothes or other wrapping to hold bandages. I figure I can do this for this surgery as well? What have other people experienced?
