My cartridge is a Grado Gold1 or Gold2, apparently, and was good back in its prime?
This is the one that was and still is on my inherited turntable. I've been using it for a few weeks, listening to a vinyl or two in the morning, it's become part of my morning routine, along with my breakfast :)
Today, I went and rechecked a yt video on how to properly calibrate the tonearm and realized the dial was off by about 0.25, so now that's fixed, along with setting the tracking force to 1.5 (and the anti-skating as well). Seems to work really well.
Been throwing super old vinyls bought in bulk, sorting them between the ones I keep and the ones I'll resell as bulk later.
