Attention Noobs: Pictures Like This Are for Advertising

Pictures showing a turntable on the same shelf or cabinets with speakers and other equipment are to make a simple photo to show an entire system in one picture. It is not the way to set up a good sounding system.

Speakers and turntable on the same surface create vibrations and an effect known as feedback. This will distort your sound and lessen your enjoyment.

At the very least put your speakers on stands near the shelf or cabinet. There are also turntable isolation devices available if you don’t have room for stands.
