Turtle and LED lights

I have an led hood in half my turtles tank and an above tank basking box. That leaves that half pretty dark. So I out in a submersible led strip in that end.. it has several light colors. My question is will led colors hurt my guys eyes?.. I can stay with the white but the other colors look very pretty..
