[S3E9] Themes: Hands on shoulders & red chairs

Two E9 motifs I noticed: hands on shoulders and red chairs. These motifs certainly recur in other work but Mr. Lynch was very particular about them in this episode.

Hands on shoulders: - Gordon's squeezing of Diane's shoulder on the plane - Andy pats Lucy's shoulder after the chair showdown - A hand on the shoulder of the fallen speedy Johnny (Horne?) - Mrs. Briggs explains Major Briggs "squeezed her shoulders when he told me this"

Red chairs: - The chair at Las Vegas police department - The chair that isn't beige - The "this is the chair" chair at the Briggs'

Any other instances I missed?
