Watching Twin Peaks with subtitles feels so much more rewarding.

I watch everything with subtitles since I was a teenager and got high with some friends and watched Super Troopers with them on and found that it's so enjoyable to see bits of side-dialogue you can miss.

I watched The Return on TV when it was first out and Closed Captions are very hit and miss. Having a copy of it with the true subtitles has made me enjoy it so much more!

One Example from s3e8 >!I didn't realize the song being played during the atom bomb scene is *Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima* and seeing it in the subtitles letting me know the exact song title made the scene so much more powerful for me. It gave me the feelings that in a man's creation evil can be born.!<

Besides that I have noticed so many other bits of what seem like throwaway dialogue (I know in the Lynchverse this doesn't really exist) but they do such a wonderful job of having you absorbed in the main scene that sometimes you can miss what is going on in the background which can be relevant to what's going on.

So, my friends on your next watch of TP make sure you enjoy it with subtitles and see if you view things differently.
