Driver accepted my ride - realized it was rush hour - and then canceled my ride and kicked me out.

I ordered a ride (roughly 30 miles) and a driver accepted it and picked me up. Drove to the corner before telling me driving in rush hour wasn’t worth it for them and told me to take the train and kicked me out of the car. How is that even allowed?
