Is Uber changing your settings?

It seems lately once a month Uber has been turning "voice nav" back on when I most definitely WANT IT SILENT. I use my car's nav for bulk of navigation for various reasons. Suddenly having 2 nav voices at the same time is disorienting and potentially dangerous. And of course you cannot change the setting during a ride. I can mute the phone, but still, why does Uber think they can mess with this? And now today, the "Seatbelt reminder" is suddenly on, as well as the "speed limit" option. Uber, can you please not be assholes in every conceivable way??? These are MY SETTINGS. Hands off!
