'Connection lost'

I've tried everything so far so im trying to see if somebody here can help,

I've been trying to log into my ubisoft connect desktop app for 3 days now and i'm getting a 'connection lost: there seems to be a problem with your internet connection' message but my internet is working perfectly fine. I've tried resetting my password 4 times and checked if I can log in on the websites (I can). I've uninstalled and re-installed 3 times now and made sure the app is updated and still nothing. I can't play R6S which i bought on steam because the Ubisoft connect is being a pain in the ass.

Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there is a way to fix it.
