Anything I can do about wait license wait time

I applied for my firearms with the west Mercia firearms department in April 2022 I rang in December to get a rough deadline and was told they were processing applications from November 2021. Last week I rang since I figured they wouldn’t be far off doing mine and was told they were still processing applications from November 2021 and was informed that they couldn’t even guess as to when they’d look at mine.

I was planning on moving out after my application was all completed but I’m not waiting around any long so does anyone know if changing my address will affect anything, I live on a farm at the moment and will be moving to a town I imagine which might affect things as well.
